Meet Jackdaw's mom. She is the singular most fun person to draw in the whole blasted comic next to Superthug. My mom is not like this. She seems to be satisfied with her grandcats, but I know plenty of moms who are like this. If it seems odd that Jackdaw would try to keep a secret identity, well, it seems to me that fighting crime is not the sort of career Mrs. Ortiz would have imagined for her baby girl. That would not be a fun conversation, that would probably happen over and over again.
